Brand Identity
This educational non-profit has successfully helped hundreds of thousands of families by providing free legal and advocacy services, including representation at school-related hearings and appeals, and teaching families what they need to know to stand up for their children’s educational rights. Advocates for Children of New York (AFC) also works to change education policy so that the public school system serves all children of New York City effectively. 
For all its accomplishments, AFC suffered from an outdated and inconsistent graphic identity that did not reinforce its mission. Ephemera was charged with creating a logo and brand identity that more aptly reflects the values and goals of the organization. Since its re-branding over ten years ago, its annual spring benefit fundraiser has seen considerable growth in donations and contributions, and more than doubled traffic to their website. The logo has become an iconic symbol for the organization.
