Design for Marketing Communications
I had the opportunity to create marketing communications for Butler Rogers Baskett for over 13 years, starting with their logo in the early 90's. They were a graphic designer‘s dream. The founding partners understood the value of well-conceived and executed design for business. They always endeavored to put extra thought and creativity into their firm's visual output and were willing to experiment with special printing techniques.
Known as BRB, Butler Rogers Baskett Architects, was a full-service architectural firm, offering a complete range of professional expertise across the disciplines of planning, architectural design, and interior design. Founded in 1979, and best known for their redesign of the Chelsea Piers, their practice developed a portfolio of diverse project types: educational, recreational, residential and religious facilities, as well as corporate and professional office interiors.

BRB Holiday Cards
Butler Rogers Baskett had a long-held tradition with their annual holiday card. Each year, the graphic designer was challenged with art directing a group photo of the firm and turning that into a cool holiday card to share with their clients. The only rules were that it had to be non-denominational and had to incorporate photos of the entire staff. Charles Baskett, one of the founding partners, really loved to challenge me to come up with something different each year, and they were always excited about trying out interesting printing techniques.
