Self-Injection, Step-by-Step
For the majority of patients, having to self-inject their medicine is an uncomfortable and frightful experience. How-to videos on the subject are typically straightforward, over serious and bland. With the success of Skyrizi and the launch of its Patient Support Program, Skyrizi Complete, AbbVie wanted to raise the bar and create a self-injection video that broke new ground in its category. Utilizing a mixed media technique of live video, animation and stop-motion photography, we created a video that was grounded in the step-by-step process, and through inventive storytelling provided a comfort level for patients that bolstered their confidence to self-inject.
